At More Than Motions Ministries, we strive to ignite a passionate faith among Christians. Our mission is to encourage believers to move beyond a lukewarm faith and live their lives on fire for God, knowing we believe in the greatest news ever and care share the message of the gospel through how we reflect Jesus to our sphere of influence.

How MtM Became to be!
My Journey
We would all say, it should never be, but in reality, our awe of God and bewilderment for all He does for us can wain over the years. Life gets busy with work, kids, aging parents, etc, and before we know it, our relationship with God is taking a backseat, and we are only going through the motions of our faith.
In other instances, we may have allowed ourselves to develop a worldly view of God and so we're having dinner with Jesus but entertaining the devil in the basement. We've got 1 foot in the world and 1 foot in the faith, trying to straddle the line between the broad path that leads to destruction and the narrow way that leads to life.
I found myself in that exact place and desperate for something real and meaningful, I hit my knees and asked God to show me and He did! With my marriage, our children, work, caring for aging parents, trying to keep friendships alive and ensure I had some self care, my faith was taking a back seat. I was doing all the things, but it was a shallow effort at best. I knew God had more in store for me, a greater purpose, to not only share the gospel that others may come to know Jesus, also to make a call to believers, to stop only going through the motions of our faith and really start living like we believe in the BEST NEWS EVER!
God put on my heart that there are many believers out there like me, who were just going through the motions of their faith, living lukewarm and missing out on everything that He has in store for them. That is More Than Motions Ministries came to be! My response to God’s call to serve Him in helping dry bones come alive!!
